Definition of terms used in this podcast:

Price-to-sales ratios – The price-to-sales (P/S) ratio shows how much investors are willing to pay per dollar of sales for a stock. The P/S ratio is calculated by dividing the stock price by the underlying company’s sales per share.

IRR – The Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is the discount rate that makes the net present value (NPV) of a project zero. In other words, it is the expected compound annual rate of return that will be earned on a project or investment.

The Russell 2000® Index is a measure of the performance of small-cap U.S. stocks. The Russell 2000® Value Index measures the performance of the large cap value segment of the US equity universe. Indices are unmanaged and their returns assume reinvestment of dividends and, unlike mutual fund returns, do not reflect any fees or expenses associated with a mutual fund. It is not possible to invest directly in an index.
